JNO Editor-in-Chief Recruitment Announcement

Dear NANOS Members,

As you may know, Dr. Laura Balcer is stepping down as the editor of the Journal of Neuro-Ophthalmology (JNO). Under her exceptional leadership, the JNO has thrived, and we are immensely grateful for her dedication, tireless efforts, and the remarkable progress achieved during her tenure.

The search for her permanent replacement has now commenced, and Dr. Lanning Kline has graciously agreed to serve as our interim editor until a permanent replacement is identified and mentored. Although the time commitment is significant, becoming the editor of our journal offers many benefits:

1. You get to review cutting-edge manuscripts.
2. You play a major role in increasing scholarship in our field and advancing the careers of students, residents, fellows, and colleagues.
3. You get to serve NANOS.
4. The editor receives a stipend to offset the costs and time required.
